JERUSALEM POST

JP_logos (Page 1)

Friday is a good day (if anything is good these days) because Adam Montefiore’s article appears in the Jerusalem Post.  His writing is so smooth and intelligent, it’s never too professional for people who are unschooled in wine and it’s always an interesting, often witty and friendly read, such a pleasure. Judy Stacey Goldman

Adam Montefiore is the Wine Writer for the Jerusalem Post and www.jpost.com. The Jerusalem Post is the main English language newspaper in Israel and jpost.com is the leading website covering Israel, the Middle East and the Jewish world.

He has been writing his regular column called ‘Wine Talk’ since 2010. It is arguably the largest wine column in an Israeli newspaper, in either English or Hebrew. It appears on Fridays in the Jerusalem Post magazine.

The Jerusalem Post was founded in 1932 and originally known as the Palestine Post. It changed its name to the Jerusalem Post in 1950.

Adam Montefiore regards himself as a wine writer, rather than a wine critic. ‘Wine Talk’ is not geared to the wine trade or wine experts, but more to the regular drinker.
